CrowdLeaf Newsletter 21st July 2018

CrowdLeaf Newsletter 21st July 2018

Hello and welcome to this weeks edition of the CrowdLeaf newsletter.

These beautiful images were taken by Ann-Marie Britton Photography so a big thank you for allowing CrowdLeaf to share these!

We hope everyone is enjoying yet another week of this beautiful weather although it’s not without it’s downfall. Britain has been pretty scorched by the heatwave so we are hoping some rain will be on it’s way soon.

Consultation which could pave the way to removing a local say in fracking announced by the Government – put your thoughts down and them off to them here.

We are working towards arranging a beach clean and litter pick so watch this space for further details on this. In the mean time check out our events section to see what is going on near you. 🙂

This brilliant website gives tips and ideas about food waste and how to reduce it.

Love Food Hate Waste

Instead of throwing out or bagging up (to gather dust) all those clothes children quickly grow out of this is a brilliant website to buy or sell unwanted children clothes. It is run by a busy mum who also knows what it’s like with ever growing children and the endless amount of clothes children accumulate.

‘Last year a quarter of the clothing we got rid of was simply thrown away. That’s a staggering 300,000 tonnes that went into landfill. So many of those items could have been re-used and enjoyed by a another child, instead of contributing to the destruction of the planet.’
