Hello and welcome to this weeks edition of CrowdLeaf’s newsletter bringing you up to date and relevant news regarding our environment.
Don’t forget our litter pick event on Friday 17th with Southampton Common Forum. If you would like to join us we are meeting up at the Hawthorns Cafe at 18:30 so please feel free to come along and help out.
Also if anyone can help out by taking some of the litter to dispose of this would be great.
Some great bee images were taken by CrowdLeaf’s Ryan Carter:
What amazing creatures they are which play such an important role for our environment. If you would like to join us and purchase some bee friendly seeds to turn your garden into a bee sanctuary, we are planning to get a massive order together. If so drop us an email and we will see what we can do.

This brilliant website gives tips and ideas about food waste and how to reduce it.
Instead of throwing out or bagging up (to gather dust) all those clothes children quickly grow out of this is a brilliant website to buy or sell unwanted children clothes. It is run by a busy mum who also knows what it’s like with ever growing children and the endless amount of clothes children accumulate.
‘Last year a quarter of the clothing we got rid of was simply thrown away. That’s a staggering 300,000 tonnes that went into landfill. So many of those items could have been re-used and enjoyed by a another child, instead of contributing to the destruction of the planet.’
