Hello and welcome to CrowdLeaf’s newsletter.

As you may have heard data protection laws are changing on 25th May so you will need to let us know if you would like to continue receiving our weekly newsletters. Some of you will have received an email from us but if you haven’t and you would like to, please drop us an email or message. Thank you all for your support for our shared and joint cause! 🙂

Ryan has been spending some time in Amsterdam, this is what he had to say:

‘It’s great to see all the great advances so obviously unique but so startlingly obvious. Everywhere you turn there is Tesla taxis, solar boats on their pristine rivers. In shops and hotels there arr environmentally aware products, CO2 aware menus and the very unique situation of bicycles peppered in every road and corner. It’s been hearenting to see the novel idea of car share schemes just popping up all over the City. What more can I say, it’s so green and clean here, frankly the UK could learn a lot’

Some great conservation success stories – always good to see some of the good we can do!

Do you have an event or an article you would like to see published on our newsletter? Please contact myself (Vicky) or Ryan to see if we can help!

This brilliant website gives tips and ideas about food waste and how to reduce it.

Love Food Hate Waste

Instead of throwing out or bagging up (to gather dust) all those clothes children quickly grow out of this is a brilliant website to buy or sell unwanted children clothes. It is run by a busy mum who also knows what it’s like with ever growing children and the endless amount of clothes children accumulate.

‘Last year a quarter of the clothing we got rid of was simply thrown away. That’s a staggering 300,000 tonnes that went into landfill. So many of those items could have been re-used and enjoyed by a another child, instead of contributing to the destruction of the planet.’
