Hello and welcome to another CrowdLeaf newsletter.
We hope you are still keeping your new years resolutions so far this year! How many of you took the pledge to go vegan for Veganuary? How many of you will stick to it longer term? How amazing is it that there is a tasty alternative to most of our favourites these days guilt free of harming animals in any way?! We think that it is a great achievement to help people make the change even if it is just cutting out some meat or dairy.
As the weather seems to be turning colder please leave food out for wildlife that will still be foraging for food. Also, check up on anyone you know who maybe vulnerable that may require some assistance if the weather becomes too bad. Bringing back some community spirit 🙂

This brilliant website gives tips and ideas about food waste and how to reduce it.
Instead of throwing out or bagging up (to gather dust) all those clothes children quickly grow out of this is a brilliant website to buy or sell unwanted children clothes. It is run by a busy mum who also knows what it’s like with ever growing children and the endless amount of clothes children accumulate.
‘Last year a quarter of the clothing we got rid of was simply thrown away. That’s a staggering 300,000 tonnes that went into landfill. So many of those items could have been re-used and enjoyed by a another child, instead of contributing to the destruction of the planet.
