Often the terms we on the sustainability front use, or band about such as the fight on plastic, battle on emissions and the plague of plastic… I could go on. These words are littered throughout our vocabulary as sign of acknowledgment. This edition of the now very regular newsletter (twice weekly) is to focus not just on problems but on the Innovations, the mitigations and the workon conservation. After all it’s fantastic to see so many big companies making huge efforts to change. We have been working on contacting and pushing business and councils and will continue to do so, but by sharing the positive news on firms ditching plastics or divesting from fossil fuels or who are now fighting a difficult battle to reverse the severe damage that has been caused.
We have a great guest piece by Mar Introini – For A Plastic Free Revolution We Need New Lenses, which can be viewed here.
It is important to educate our children what and how to recycle, encouraging their interest for the natural world and how to look after it. Check out local nature groups in your area to join in with. Click Here for a great informative recycling website for both older and younger children.

Instead of throwing out or bagging up (to gather dust) all those clothes children quickly grow out of this is a brilliant website to buy or sell unwanted children clothes. It is run by a busy mum who also knows what it’s like with ever growing children and the endless amount of clothes children accumulate.
‘Last year a quarter of the clothing we got rid of was simply thrown away. That’s a staggering 300,000 tonnes that went into landfill. So many of those items could have been re-used and enjoyed by a another child, instead of contributing to the destruction of the planet.’
